I love this mold. This was my first Aluminum mold from MP and it is awesome. The bullets fell free and perfectly formed from the get go. I cast approximately 1000 rounds in about three hours with very little effort.

The mould shipped almost instantly, and arrived at my house in the US, from Slovenia, in a bit over two days. It was unbelievable.
The mould itself is beautiful, exquisitely well machined, and the bullets that I’ve cast from it are incredible. The mould came with three sets of pins, a small sample of sprue lube, and two allen wrenches.
Of the pins that it came with, I’ve cast bullets using the pin for round-nosed solid bullets, and the round hollow points. I haven’t tried the pins for casting pentacular hollow points yet. The round solids are great, and the hollow points are great when they fill out the mould properly.
I have had a little trouble consistently filling out the mould right at the tip where the hollow point pins meet up with the brass mould. That edge is a bit sharp, and I’d rather have the ridge be slightly rounded or slightly flat to make it easier for them to fill out. I was able to get a lot of perfectly filled out bullets by casting very hot and adding 1-2% tin to my alloy, but many of my bullets still have little spots right at the hollow point that aren’t 100% filled out. If the blemish is slight I shoot them anyway and they’ve been fine for my purposes, but still, I think a very slight redesign of that tip to make the hollow point edge not so sharp would help a lot with this.
Overall, even with that little thing with the hollow point ridge thing, I’m incredibly pleased with my purchase. This wasn’t my first purchase from MP-Moulds, and won’t be my last.

I really like the quality of this mold. They were really fast shipping the mold. I am still trying to dial in poring the lead into the hollow points without getting inconsistencies. I think that might just be something I’m doing. I do wish there would have been some type of instructions with the mold for assembling but I just got online and looked at pictures of them and was able to assemble it. I will be shopping with mp molds again. I give them and their product the highest rating. Thank you for an excellent product and excellent service.

I was dropping perfect 230gr hollow points after cleaning and 8 or so warm-up casts. The bullets drop easily from the points and are very consistent in diameter and weight. I now have four MP molds, each of which is my main mold for each calibre I reload. Two are brass HP molds like this one and two are aluminum non-HP molds. All are superb!
