Other than that my mp moulds are all works of art and perform perfectly.
I cleaned the mold with brake cleaner, heated it up and cooled it down 3x and casted – in the first casting session I was able to produce 186 perfect bullets (just the first 10 went to the pot for remelting), they are very uniform, weight from my alloy is 157.8 grains (variation about 0.3 gr), caliber as cast was .357″, I calibrate the bullets after powder coating to .356″ – very easy calibration.
I feel like a pro using this brass hollow-point bullet mold. It delivers accuracy and precision, and the brass construction holds heat better than other materials I’ve tried. Absolutely worth the investment for quality reloads.
great mold for subsonic 9mm. Will eventually use it for 38 special as well. Powder coated and the optional HP pins make it one of the best all around 9mm heavy molds out there! And the quality of the MP molds in general are top notch.
The craftsmanship of MP hollow point molds is exceptional. The attention to detail and the quality of the materials used ensure that each bullet cast is flawless. The molds heat up quickly and maintain an even temperature, resulting in perfect hollow points with minimal effort.
