I have not yet had chance to cast any slugs with this mold, but what i can say, as an engineer, is that it is superbly made, and if the slugs perform as well as the service provided my mp molds then they will be amazing!

The mold it extremely high quality. And i would recommend you get the set of handles with it. The mold puts out constant projectiles and works better than any other small projectile mold i have. The alignment is perfect. No flashing or seam line on projectiles.
Would recommend casting with a 50/50 lead to wheel weight alloy.

Shoots every bit as good as JSB 25gr Redesigned or 33gr in Huben and AEA Pro. Hitting 4″ steel plate at 150 yd with no problems. Beats out conventional pellets big time.

I showed this to a friend with an engineering background and he started dribbling and saying ‘oooooo, hello beautiful’, that’s all i needed to know. Heat them twice and candle carbon them, works a treat. Once you get the lead amounts right, consistent pellets every time, perfect.

Purchased 2 molds, this one and a 6.35 hoping they will make more airgun molds in .22 and .30 as I do believe there is a market for these calibers. Extremely satisfied with my purchase.

Very good mold, produces on average 35.7-35.8 gr casts with pure lead. I bought it mainly for my LCS SK-19 automatic airgun which I shot at 67-72 fpe. It is good practice to sort by weight and to lube the ammo with Teflon spray, increases extremely accuracy. Having tried with multiple guns, works extremely well with LW, CZ, COMETA and Artemis barrels even at lower power ranges (eg Brocock at 27 fpe, Cometa Orion at 34 fpe, artemis pp750 at 17 fpe). A friend of mine shoots them successfully from a fx impact heavy liner 70 cm barrel. Shape of bullet is very successful. Only improvement I could think about is to add a similar mould with hollow point in order to reduce weight to 25-30 gr for use in lower power airguns
