What a great mold . I powder coat and size for my 357s. The quality of the mold is amazing and the bullets shoot great. I can’t believe how easy the bullet’s fall off the pins. This is the third mold I have bought from MP molds. And it won’t be the last.

It is a work of art. The projectiles are fantastic and consistent.. it is a shame to heat it up and get it dirty The!
The only negative is that the sprue plate is close to the handle so on the first few pours, when the lead solidifies fast, it is hard to cut the sprues without hitting the handle.

I am no ‘old pro’ at casting. I’m relatively new to the process, but I have used several MP Molds prior to this one and love them all. That said it took me a little time to get used to the 4-cavity mold. The weight and different pace of casting took some getting used to. After I did though, this is by far my favorite “freedom seed” for my 357mag/38spl lever action. It also does well in my heavy 9mm loads. I plan to order the 2 cavity gas check version as well when I can. Great Mold!

Outstanding as always. This is my third MP mold, and I love all of them. I have been casting bullets for almost 30 years, and the fit and finish of your molds is the best I have ever had. The hollow points come easily out of the mold. I tested a 140 grain 9mm with a penta-pin into a water jug at 1000fps. It expanded beautifully. I cant wait to try the 158 grain .357 at 1250fps.

This is my first mold, so I don’t have a lot of experience, but I was able to make good bullets by the second casting by heating the mold sitting on top of the pot as the lead was melting. There’s nothing that beats it for versatility. I’m still experimenting with alloys but my revolver seems to like the shape and shoots it well. I’ll be buying other calibers when the need arises.
