Awesome mold, broke in extremely fast. I was casting beautiful pointy 500 mag bullets within the first 5 pours. Would recommend MP molds to anyone looking for a high quality mold for a fair price.

As a supplement to some already existing dies for the caliber .500S&W Magnum and because I found the bullet shape interesting, I purchased this die. It is excellent to work with, the finished bullets literally just tumble out. I press them through the .501 die of the LEE APP after powder coating. I set this pointed bullet with the setting punch of the Hornady .50AE die. It is hollow inside and does not damage the bullet tip.

Mold came quickly and progress through FedEx system was updated daily. Once here the mold was better than I had imagined. It was finely detailed and not cheaply made . The mold fit perfectly on the Lee 6 cavity mold handles I purchased at eBay. With hindsight I could have just bought from MP seeing price was similar but not sure how shipping cost would be effected.
Once the lead mix was up to temp it formed smooth perfectly shaped bullets.
They dropped easily from the mold without any anti-seize added to alignment pins. The bullets with my lead mix were about 381.5 to 384. 5gr with copper gas check.
I will be purchasing more in the near future and will tell all interested about my new mold company!!!! I now realize why many firearms product companies are using these machinists for so many things. Not Chinese made crap. Total quality second to none.
