My personal experience is that if you break the mold in properly, and get the mold and the lead mix *hot enough* so that the pins are good and hot, it rains bullets. This is my 4th or 5th brass MP mold, they like to be run hot.
No complaints, I’m sure I’ll be buying another down the road.

Great mold. As I’ve come to expect from their molds the machining and quality is excellent. I found you could put the pin for the round nose in upside down and get flat points but the mold had to be extra hot for the bullets to drop out this way. Running it with the hollow point pins it was very fast and easy to cast with.

It took lest than a week from the time I ordered this mold for it to arrive. I was amazed when I opened it and found that it came with three (3) sets of four (4)pins. The craftsmanship is amazing. It was a joy to assemble as it made me appreciate the workmanship even more. This is quality. My wife even said, ” That’s pretty. ” I couldn’t wait to try it out so I heated up the lead and the mold and poured a few. It took two (2) pours to begin to produce excellent quality hollow points. I will certainly be getting more molds from MP. Thanks for a truly nice product.

These molds are a perfectly symmetric, work of art.
The attention to detail on each cut angle and machine pass shows that a lot of thought went into the final product.
The versatility of these molds to cast solid, mid and deep hollow points,.. all from the same mold is pretty incredible,.. but having the talent and machine skills to make it consistently perform, bullet after bullet,.. is a true art form.
If you cast bullets, you owe yourself one of these molds; if you don’t cast bullets,.. you should buy one anyway,.. the artistic value alone is worth the asking price. : )
