I am a big fan of .35 caliber, and this mould is an exceptionally useful and versatile design for a wide range of cartridges. So far I have shot it in my .35/.30-30 Contender, but I have plans to shoot it in .35 Remington, .356 Winchester, and .35 Whelen, and will experiment in others (.357 Mag, .357 Max, etc.). This mould casts beautifully, and produces beautiful bullets.

Another beautiful brass multi-option HP/Solid mould. I intend to use these in Remington 14 and two .35 Winchesters. Five days Slovenia to Alaska can’t be beat. In just over an hour, I had fifty 217gr HPs and sixty seven 220gr solid flat points. I cleaned and lightly smoked the mould using wood matches, and only quickly heated the mould on the rim of the pot as the alloy melted and came up to temperature. I had several “keepers” on the very first cast! As expected, solids cast easier with fewer rejects than HPs, but a higher temp with more tin in the alloy would fix this. With my soft (9Bn) alloy, they drop from the mould right at .359″.
