I made a few test pours with it, which went smoothly as known from MP-Moulds. Of course, with such long bullets cooling takes a little longer and should be noted! I carefully slide my freshly cast Boolits onto a soft, fireproof base.
At an O.A.L. of 65.5mm (2.57874″), they are just barely held by a .308Win case.
Ich habe einige Probegüsse damit gemacht, die wie von MP-Moulds bekannt, problemlos verliefen. Natürlich dauert bei solch langen Geschossen das Abkühlen etwas länger und sollte beachtet werden! Ich lasse meine frischgegossenen Geschosse vorsichtig auf eine weiche, feuerfeste Unterlage gleiten.
Bei einer O.A.L. von 65,5mm (2,57874″) werden sie gerade noch so von einer .308Win Hülse gehalten.
