      Another great mold. Machining quality is as good as you can get, MP rocks!!! Cast right at 227 and can be easy sized down to 225, with my alloy it drops at 58 grain and the bullet is 60 with homemade gas check and powder coated. A breeze to cast with, I would absolutely recommend it!

      Excellent finish and craftsmanship. Geometry of this mold is a bit picky about alloy and temperatures. Long and narrow with sharp driving bands require some finesse to work.This is not problem of product quality but more so of bullet design.

      The mold is beautiful and drops almost a perfect 65 grains. Well made heavy duty and should last a lifetime. I wish the handles “closed” a little. When the mold is closed the handles feel a little weird to me, but work flawless and I may squeeze them together myself in the future. The shipping was stupid fast and I would purchase their molds again.

      I ordered the MP 227-65 GC Solid 6 cavity mold on 5/2/23. The mold arrived in 2 days. I ordered the mold for the purpose of casting bullets for my AR15. With this mold I am currently using a Lyman #2 lead compound. My castings come out flawlessly every time @60.99 Grains. I do not use traditional bullet lube, instead I powder coat the projectiles. I have now tested over 500 powder coated projectiles made from this mold in my AR15. I have several MP Molds In multiple calibers & I believe them to be the best molds on the market.
