      Awesome mold. Excellent machining as I’ve come to expect from their molds. Make sure you preheat your mold before casting especially with the big pins for the hollow base. Once this was up to temp I was getting excellent results and very fast to cast with.

      This working well in my 11/87 fully rifled barrel. However, load data is not abundant. I’m comfortable experimenting. If you aren’t, get the wad version for which there is published data.

      I have rarely experienced this kind of quality. The mold in it self is a piece of art. High material quality, nice fit and finish ant tight tolerances. The bullets don’t stick in the mold and accuracy was like nothing I have ever seen before in a 12 gauge slug. 5 shots within 40mm at 50 meters from a 20″ rifled pump action that was never built to be a rifle.
      This might be my first MP mold, but definitely not my last.
      I highly recommend the full bore diablo slug mold from MP-molds.

      Being a machinist for 40 years I don’t get impressed easily. I’m impressed, the quality of MP molds is the best I have seen and at a very fair price. This is the first brass mold I’ve had so I followed the break in procedure found in the Tips’nTricks section and I was getting perfect slugs from first pour. Don’t think I’ll be buying molds from anyone else.

      Excellent craftsmanship, the weight the feel of this mold is a work of art, the 525 slug release easily from mold with just a light tap. The 525 slug is accurate at 23 meters using , Fiocchi hulls and Hodgdon LS.

      This .730 mold is extremely easy to use which makes perfect sense. The company that makes them is extremely easy to use as well. My mold arrived in 8 days from Slovenia, packaged well and that thing makes the most accurate slugs I’ve ever shot. I will only buy MP molds from now on.

      Absolutely amazing workmanship; I was almost reluctant to submit it to molten metal. I wanted to display it on a shelf because it’s so beautiful. Compatibility with my Lee 6-cavity handles is excellent. After cleaning with alcohol and pre-heating over the lead pot I poured a couple of pairs of slugs expecting a longer break-in. One of the four was completely usable. After that most of the casts were excellent with a few that didn’t fully fill out but I’m sure that was due to my technique. The groove between the sprue holes is very useful once one develops the knack for pouring with a Production Pot. After cutting the sprues ( I used a rubber-covered hammer handle) the slugs just fall away usually with a bit of a wiggle on separation of the two halves – no stuck slugs at all. Shipping from placing the order to delivery in my mailbox was 5 days – including a weekend – from Slovenia to Western Canada. Best online service from ANY country; I’ve had longer waits from a city 120 km away in my own province. I can’t think of a way this experience or this product could be improved on.

      Very high quality. Mold has a nice heft to it. Cast very easy but do need high temperature to be smooth (450°C).
