      Shipping ordered 4 am Monday on porch that Friday to Michigan. Milk jug water test expansion nice mushroom soft bhn 6-8 ish 4.6 grains power pistol from sig 365. Bullet has great ogive can load all the way to 1.160 but shortened to 1.140 so live round could eject very happy with mould . My new favorite mould. I like the pin set up better than the noes. And the mould gets here quicker.

      I have a few hp molds fr N.O.E & I HATE how the hp pins need to adjusted & still they almost never produce perfect hp. This design is perfect & the mold is true work of art. After giving the new mold a good scrub down with a good grease cutting dish soap. I put then on a hot plate to bring then up to temp. On my 1st casting session I put out at least 600 PERFECT 147GR HP. I’M sold ….Thank you MP for such a superior mold I will be ordering many more in the future. Ps. The shipping is CRAZY FAST. A+

      I love this mold and casted 147 grain HP’s in wheel weight and straight lead. Plan to powder coat them and test for expansion in water and if pure can be stable for 20 yards. Not stated in the description the mold comes with Pins for HP and flat front faces. Slide bars for each. Jesus clips for adding and removing pins. Tighten pins into the inset pins and back off 1/8 turn of a turn so they slide easily. The mold casts and releases very well. I love the brass holding the heat better and needed to slow tempo casting and no hot plate except for heating the mold initially. Heat cycle mold several times as explained in the instructions before casting

      I really like the mold. Its heavy but i usually set it on the pot every once and a while to keep it hot anyways. I just wish the bullet design was longer so i can use a harder alloy to still get 147 grain bullets. I have to set up my seating die differently and expand my cases a lot more to avoid crushing the bullet since to get 147 grain bullets i have to use really soft lead. Otherwise in testing ive recovered hollowpoints that still weighed 135 grains after expanding into a bowling pin at about 1100 fps, so its pretty decent. With a longer design theoretically it could be possible to use a stronger alloy that still expands and has a higher weight retention and still weigh 147 grains before being fired.

      I ordered these molds not knowing they were coming from Eastern Europe, and then expecting delivery to be much more than anticipated. However, these molds arrived within 10 days the shipping was thru DHl ( well done) packaged well and machine work was world class. The molds make great bullets after proper preparation. The brass molds like the lead hot around 750F worked great for me. I would not hesitate to deal with MP molds again , excellent company
