I have several molds and out of all of them this one is by far my favorite! It casts good clean bullets with ease, they drop right out with no issues. Heats up easily and once to temperature it holds its heat nicely. This is the best mold i have ever used! I shoot this bullet in 45 colt. When seated to the lube groove the overall cartridge length is to long for my Henry to feed from the magazine, but that is the ONLY criticism i have for this bullet design. Having such a shallow base means you can really get this thing moving! Using the cup type pin mine throws at 225gr very consistently. I have driven these bullets up to 1400 fps without any issues at all and with excellent accuracy from my Blackhawk. My favorite load uses a stiff charge of Unique at about 20,000 psi doing 1200 fps from my 5 1/2 inch flattop. Its a stiff but manageable recoil and the accuracy is the best of any bullet i have yet tried in any of my guns. Get this mold! You will not be disappointed!
