Great plinker for 44 mag

This is an excellent bullet design, and one that is long overdue. This bullet is perfectly suited for the medium-framed .44 Specials (e.g. S&W 696), as well as serving nicely in larger .44s. The mould casts smoothly and easily, the bullets drop from the HP pins freely, and the bullets group very nicely. Match the alloy hardness to the velocity and HP expansion is positive. I am very, very happy with this bullet mould.

Excellent mold, hollowpoint inserts make it multi use drops bullets from 185 gn to 205 gn and the inserts release the bullets with ease. A excellent mold for light weight 44 spcl and 44 mag. Wonderful to cast with as usual with these MP molds.

Looks great, haven’t used it yet.

It casts nice bullets almost immediately if preheated i preheat on a simple electric hotplate and you should do that, a brass mold is quite a pain if you start with it cold.
First try 208 grains solid 190 grains round hollow point alloy 1/20 tin/range scrap.
