This is my second mold for MP. And I really like both of them. Very high quality. The bullets drop out of this mold with very consistent weight. The build of the mold is top notch. Meplat to bearing surface is too long for most 10mm magazines at .300″. Seated to 1.260″ which is the max that will physically feed out of my M&P 2.0 10mm magazines the nose taper is well below the case mouth. It does work in .40S&W but the minimum OAL is 1.150″. Drops about 188gr. If you want a heavy .40 this works ok, but nothing special. Might work in a revolver but also no crimp groove so you are left with crimping over the ogive. I would recommend updating the mold description with the intended use as I did not know the meplat would be too long for my intended purpose and would have gone with another option so as to not end up with a paperweight. Mold itself casts great, just beware of your intended application.
