I’ve bought many MP-Molds in the last couple years and I have nothing bad to say about them. They deliver quickly and in great shape. The molds are solid brass and substantial. Make sure your mold is hot and lead alloy is hotter. I try to run the furnace around 750+ degrees F because antimony melts at that high temperature. First castings are rough but after the 3rd they come out great. I also like the 4 cavity size because I can change the different hollow point pins on the fly. I load the flat set to begin, then take out the open end 3 and change to successive hollow points. That way I get a flat point each cast. I also don’t use the little moon c clips. Sometimes they fall out but I found a rythm. The inner pin most always stays in place. Last tip, smoke your molds after cleaning and baking per MP-Mold suggestions. Happy casting!

One of the most versatile molds available. Easy to use even with the largest pins installed. All cavities are uniform in dimension and throw similar weights. It is my first brass mold and I have no problem with it (no signs or wear on the sprue plate, etc.) I will be ordering more molds from this company. one small point is it did not come with enough e clips for all the pins.

The mold is fantastic; it is so easy to use and produces 90%+ keepers with the deepest hollow point pin once the mold is at operating temperature. I ordered plain base mold. Will be loading these in 38 special, 38/44 and 357 magnum. With my alloy after chrome powder coating it is scaling at 155 grains and they look like flying ashtrays. Am excited to test terminal ballistics on water jugs when it warms up.

As usual mold was absolutely beautiful and of the quality of workmanship MP molds are known for. After cleaning and doing the recommended 3-4 cycle heat cycling break-in was casting perfect bullets on 4th mold fill. Bullets fell right out of mold and off pins 95% of the time with rest only needing light tap; none sticking. MP molds have to be amongst the top if not the top molds on the market. I truly don’t see how he can produce such quality molds for the price but I and thousands more are sincerely grateful he can. Wish Miha well and look forward to future purchases.

This mold is great. The bullets drop right off the pins. Brass material is the way to go, the temperature stays in the zone very well. My mold came with a full set of hollowpoint pins so it is essentially 5 molds in one. I will definitely buy more in the future. Shipping was incredibly fast from Slovenia, I ordered it on a Thursday and had it by the following Wednesday.
