George P., I deliberately ordered one of my first MP molds with GC because I still thought I needed it for plastic-coated bullets (which is completely wrong). I never put GC’s on it and always got good results with it. Years later, I thought I had to buy the same mold from Miha without GC because the bullet base bothered me visually. I can assure you, there is no difference for me in the precision between the two.
Surely you will have found out by now – it also works perfectly with this bullet rear!

Mold washed with dish soap and hot water 2x. Mold cavities smoked and then preheated. Alloy at 700°. First cast produced perfectly filled cavites and sharp bases. Bullets literally fell out of the mold. No sticking at all on penta pins. Best HP mold made. I have his 452/200 HP mold that was bought around 10 years ago. Exact same quality! Never a regret with any mold I’ve bought from MP so far. Will source him first for my next HP mold.
