There are so many things that MP does right that it will be hard to put it all into one coherent statement. But I will give it a try. Their daily output of molds is excellent. Many of the hard to find items calibers are constantly being churned out by MP. Their web site is user friendly and it makes checkout a breeze. The time from placing the order to receiving it is outstanding. Normally for me its about 10 days. Shipping is handled by DHS which is head and shoulders above anything we have over here. I receive notices several times during the shipping period asking if I need special service, if I approve delivery without signature etc. Everything about purchasing and shipping side is a solid 5 star. Could not be better.
MP’s after sale support is beyond all of my expectations. I installed the HP pins incorrectly and asked to buy replacement pins and sets of HP pins for two of my molds. With that simple e mail request they sent me a complete set of pins and HP’s even though I was the one that was at fault.
One last thing. As I was checking out a while back they had a pop up offer on a 40 grain 22cal mold and I bought that at a terrific price. And the little 22’s fall out of the mold like pearls.

Order and shipping process was fantastic and received a very nice looking mold however I am experiencing a bit of issues with the first and fourth pins sticking in the mold when trying to dump bullets.

The .311 sledgehammer mold drops good looking large cavity hp slugs that weigh between 131-132 grains using wheel-weigh lead. I am shooting these out of a AirForce .308 air rifle. Full power yields 968 fps which is enough for the slug to expand to .62 caliber when fired into water. With velocity tuned down to 928 fps, I get 3 shots grouping well under 2” at 100 yds.
The only observation to note is the hollow point pins require a gentle tap to extend and drop the bullets. This could simply be a break-in condition as I’ve only had two casting sessions and maybe 400 bullets so far. Also, it could be me as this is my first hollow point mold. All in all, very happy.

Would I recommend? Absolutely!
